Kenny, Tate -9 months and me, Murfreesboro, NC, 2011

I'm Leeta Harding, photographer, writer, new mom. I worked for 10yrs as a cover photographer for index Magazine in NYC. I've contributed regulary to Harper's Bazaar, New York Magazine, Details, Radar, Lucky, YM and many other fashion, culture and lifestyle magazines. In 2009, my husband Kenny and I left NYC for rural North Carolina. We fell in love with a historic Victorian house on 7 acres in the small town of Murfreesboro. We dedicated 2 years in renovation and preservation of the ephemera, predating the civil war, that we found in the house. Kenny is a photographer and clothing designer who spent the bulk of his career at Polo Ralph Lauren. I'm eight years cancer free. Our journey with reproductive medicine, RMANJ and with my dear friend Karlin who carried our baby for 9 months gave us a miracle.Tate was born March 5, 2010. I began this blog so that one day he'll understand the adventure of his birth. I share openly with a full heart.
